Must sell my 1978 Ford Ranger Highboy 4X4 F250. This is one fantastic truck in excellent condition! Selling due to the fact that I was injured in an accident in February and can no longer drive this truck. The truck is equipped with dual gas tanks, new headers, new exhaust, new tail pipes, NEW ENGINE (only 1241 miles on the new motor) which is the 400 M, new radiator, new motor mounts, new distributer, new water pump, new battery, new hoses, new alternator, you name it, it's new. I had the engine totally rebuilt in March of 2004 and have only put 1241 miles on the new engine. This truck wasn't driven much, it was just my toy. I have all the original reciepts for the parts and the engine rebuild. The 4WD works great, heater works, all guages work. Has chrome roll bar, chrome back bumper, chrome tail pipes, mag wheels. All the exterior trim is intact and in great condition. This truck has virtually no rust!!! There is NO rust on the wheel wheels or anywhere else that I can see. There has been no body work either. Body is straight as an arrow. However, there IS some minor surface rust on the floor of the bed. The interior is as great as the exterior. Original headliner is excellent, dash is excellent, flooboards are excellent. Has new carpet (see photos), the seat is in excellent condition. It's a dark blue inside, couldn't get great pics. The rear sliding glass window works well. The stereo system is NOT original. It's a Pioneer AM FM CD sound system. Also equipped with several anti theft devices, which will be revealed to the new owner only. I really had no intention of selling this truck. Next thing on my to do list was a new paint job, but I haven't gotten around to that yet. Due to the accident and neck injury, I can't get the hood open at this time to take photos of the new engine and engine compartment. You'll have to see that in person.
